Sub tank clearomizers differ from normal clearomizers in a few important ways. They always have a large air flow as it allows the user to take large continuous draws with little effort to increase the amount of vapour taken in. This mixes the vapour with lots of air creating big clouds. This is known as "cloud chasing." Another reason for the large air flow is that the heating element known as the coil, stays cool when drawing in. The coil must remain cool to prevent overheating causing an unwanted burnt taste.

You need to use special high VG content sub-ohm e-liquids with these beasts! The thick e-liquid ensures the coils are continually saturated to ensure these are no dry hits when vaping!
